Walnut Street Tot Lot, Franklin Park, BOSTON, MA

Design Consultants, Inc. (DCI) provided Site, Civil and Land Survey Services for two play lots on the historic Franklin Park Property. In addition to providing drainage and grading design, DCI developed Boston Water and Sewer Commission Site Plans to facilitate cross-connection permit for hose bibs and a drinking foundation.

DCI was also the design engineer for the adjacent streets, Sigourney and Walnut. This provided DCI with coordination opportunities, which included reclaiming cobble stone for use in the Park, providing a vehicular drop off area and creating an enhanced entrance to the tot lot.
